Inspired by the Javan Rhino:
These Loungers are named in honour of the Javan Rhino, one of the most threatened species of rhino. With only around 76 individuals left in the wild, they are now confined to Ujung Kulon National Park in Java, Indonesia. Once widespread across India and Southeast Asia, the species has been decimated by poaching, with Vietnam’s last Javan rhino killed in 2010. Conservation efforts continue to protect this critically endangered species.
