Gunpowder "TEMPLE OF HEAVEN"
A particularly fine example of gunpowder green tea. Each leaf has been rolled into a small round bundle. Rolling the tea renders it less susceptible to physical damage and allows the tea to retain more of the flavour and aroma. This is a superior version of Gunpowder known as Zucha or Pearl Tea. The tea is dried in rolling drums and the constant rotation gives the tea its spherical form. It has a greenish dry golden liquor much appreciated throughout the Middle East with a light smoke and nutty character.
Please note: In order to become more environmentally-friendly we no longer add large coloured labels to our tea packets. Simply peel off the small name label from the back of your packet to make it totally biodegradable! Gift tubes are as shown.
