Also at the top of our list is the need to look for and find alternatives for our bedding fillings that are more sustainable, support the circular economy (using resources more than once) so you can imagine our delight when we came across this 100% recycled down filling. Made with a filling that is trademarked and called NEOKDUN® this duvet not only feels like the finest, lightweight down duvet, but when you turn out the lights, you can rest with a clear conscious knowing that your duvet is certified with the NVP Traceability Standard and the filling has been audited to guarantee ethical sourcing. This incredible 100% biodegradable filling is made from a mixture of down species, taken from garments and bedding that have reached the end of their products life. The filling is manually taken, collected, washed and regenerated by very clever people with clever machines, in Europe. This innovative process does not use any environmentally harmful products, and in turn creates a warm, breathable, light, clean and super luxurious filling. The fill power of this duvet is 700, which makes for a very light duvet. We are skipping off to an early night with a big smile on our faces knowing that this duvets Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified case and filling is very very special indeed. Expect the feel of a very light, 100% down duvet, and you will not be disappointed. Our Second Timer down is made to order especially for you, in any of our five standard sizes - single, double, king, super king and emperor. The measurements for all our filled bedding items are for the outer cotton casing. The final product size may be ever so slightly different from the listed size depending on the tog and fill chosen. The more we pop inside the plumper it gets, this is all very normal. This filling is perfect for all year round as it comes in any of the below tog ratings. 2.5 tog - light summer use 4.5 tog - summer use 9 tog - spring/autumn use 10.5 tog – cooler spring/autumn months 13.5 tog – winter months 15 tog – colder winter months All Seasons (4.5 and 9 tog) - all year round comfort Our All Seasons duvet consists of a 4.5 tog duvet and a 9 tog duvet that can be fastened together with nifty poppers, so that you'll be covered for summer, winter, and everything in between. Machine washable like all of our down products, pop this in the wash at 40 degrees and tumble dry on a low heat until completely dry.

Tog measures how well a duvet traps heat. The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet; the lower the tog, the cooler and lighter it will feel.
Choose your tog based on the season and how warm you like to sleep. As a guide, 1–4.5 tog is best for summer, 7–10.5 tog suits spring and autumn, and 10.5–13.5 tog is ideal for colder winter nights.
