Goose feathers are not as light and fluffy as goose down, so we’ve created our Great Goose Single Duvet for you to enjoy some of the luxury of down, and spend a few less pennies. This duvet has a mix of 85% Hungarian goose feather and 15% Hungarian goose down clusters. The cover is 100% cotton with a 230 thread count for superior comfort, and finished with a piped edge. All of our duvets are hand made in Scotland and filled to order, so your duvet will always be fresh, and not hanging around in a dusty warehouse. The Great Goose, as with all our duvets is made with a baffle wall construction. This simply means that the filling is distributed evenly into patchwork pockets within the duvet, to make sure the feather & down is evenly spread, and won’t move around in the night. Our natural duvets can be washed in the machine at home, but we always recommend taking them to a specialist cleaner, so you don’t damage the filling. Find out more about caring for your duvet here. They are also Nomite and Downafresh certified, so they are almost impenetrable by dust mites, and have been made with the highest hygiene standards. These duvets are available in a choice of seven togs for the changing seasons. Our All Seasons duvet consists of a 4.5 tog duvet and a 9 tog duvet that can be fastened together with nifty poppers, so that you'll be covered for summer, winter, and everything in between.

Tog measures how well a duvet traps heat. The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet; the lower the tog, the cooler and lighter it will feel.
Choose your tog based on the season and how warm you like to sleep. As a guide, 1–4.5 tog is best for summer, 7–10.5 tog suits spring and autumn, and 10.5–13.5 tog is ideal for colder winter nights.
An anti-allergy duvet is made with materials or treatments that help prevent allergens from clinging to the duvet, making it easier to keep your bedding fresh and hygienic.
Always check the care label first, but regular washing helps keep your duvet fresh and reduces the build-up of allergens, bacteria and dust. Wash at the highest temperature recommended on the care label.
