Our Good as Goose duvet uses siliconised polyester ball fibres (Dacron® Comforel® is the filling's official name), that gather in super soft clusters. Sounds technical we know, but the truth is, you get the luxury feel of down, without a feather in sight. The filling also has fantastic thermal qualities to keep you well insulated, and wick away any excess moisture in the night. The tiny light fibres are filled individually by hand into in the duvet to keep them evenly distributed, so there'll be no clumping or matting together of fibres, like some other hollow fibre duvets. This duvet is also a great friend of the washing machine, and will recover incredibly well after washing and drying. Read our full washing instructions here. Available in 2.5, 4.5, 9, 10.5,13.5 and 15 tog options, as well as an All Season for year round use. Our All Seasons duvet consists of a 4.5 tog duvet and a 9 tog duvet that can be fastened together with nifty poppers, so that you'll be covered for summer, winter, and everything in between. The measurements for all our filled bedding items are for the outer cotton casing. The final product size may be ever so slightly different from the listed size depending on the tog and fill chosen. The more we pop inside the plumper it gets, this is all very normal. on the Tog and fill chosen. The more we pop inside the plumper it gets, this is all very normal.
Tog measures how well a duvet traps heat. The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet; the lower the tog, the cooler and lighter it will feel.
Choose your tog based on the season and how warm you like to sleep. As a guide, 1–4.5 tog is best for summer, 7–10.5 tog suits spring and autumn, and 10.5–13.5 tog is ideal for colder winter nights.
An anti-allergy duvet is made with materials or treatments that help prevent allergens from clinging to the duvet, making it easier to keep your bedding fresh and hygienic.
Always check the care label first, but regular washing helps keep your duvet fresh and reduces the build-up of allergens, bacteria and dust. Wash at the highest temperature recommended on the care label.
