Assam Bukhial TGFOP
Assam Bukhial TGFOP – Rich, Malty & Award-Winning
Velvety | Golden | Authentic Assam
One of Assam’s Finest Estates
This exceptional Assam Bukhial TGFOP comes from one of the region’s most esteemed tea estates. With its mellow, malty character and a bright, golden-coppery cup, it embodies everything a top-quality Assam should offer. Full-flavoured, smooth, and beautifully balanced, it’s a classic for connoisseurs and everyday tea lovers alike.
Velvety, Rich & Full of Depth
Produced during the prime June harvest, this award-winning tea delivers a velvety richness layered with a subtle plum-like finish. The orthodox leaf style results in a strong, flavourful brew with depth and complexity, making it truly stand out among Assam teas.
A Legendary Estate with a Remarkable Story
Bukhial is part of George Williamson Assam Ltd — the world’s largest privately held tea plantation group. Located on the south side of the Brahmaputra River near the remote region of Nagaland, the estate is rich in natural beauty and history. Wild elephants still roam the area, and a century ago even headhunter tribes inhabited the surrounding forests.
The region’s lower rainfall slows leaf growth, intensifying flavour and producing tea of exceptional quality. Estate manager Mr. Dhar proudly oversees this celebrated garden, maintaining its long-standing reputation for excellence.
