Truthpaste began in 2014, when founder Marisa’s search for a natural approach to oral care led her to explore Ayurvedic wisdom alongside modern dentistry. Early kitchen experiments with ingredients such as neem leaf, tea tree oil, clove oil and coconut oil gradually developed into a range of natural toothpastes designed to care for the whole mouth.

Every formula is guided by carefully considered values. Our toothpastes use thoughtfully researched botanicals and mineral bases to help clean teeth, keep breath fresh and support healthy gums and a balanced oral environment. Each product is also suitable for sensitive teeth and gums, making everyday oral care feel gentle, effective and enjoyable.

Sustainability sits at the heart of Truthpaste. Our vegan and cruelty-free toothpaste is created with zero-waste, plastic-free principles and ingredients selected with responsible sourcing in mind. We avoid palm oil, triclosan, SLS and SLES, sulphates, parabens, propylene glycol, endocrine-disrupting chemicals and artificial colourants such as titanium dioxide.

From its beginnings in a Brighton kitchen to a dedicated factory and growing team, Truthpaste remains committed to creating eco-friendly toothpaste without compromising on the brushing experience. Packaging, postage and production are continually reviewed as we learn new ways to reduce our environmental impact, while staying true to the values that started it all: simple, clean and honest.
