Told London: Fragrance with a Story

The Told London journey began with Lillie’s childhood in the Seychelles and India, where vivid scents and rich traditions inspired her enduring passion for artistry and storytelling. Later, at the University of Aberdeen, she met Chris — a Northern Irishman whose own travels had cultivated an appreciation for diverse cultures. Together, their shared love of exploration and design laid the foundation for a collection that celebrates the richness of lived experiences.

After thriving careers in London, the couple chose to embrace a slower, more creative way of life — Chris retraining in garden design and Lillie in interiors. Their move to Sussex, and later to Lake Como, Italy, deepened their appreciation for nature, craftsmanship, and the art of living well. Today, Told London reflects this journey: fragrances that honour memory, place, and imagination, while being consciously created to respect the planet. Each scent is a piece of storytelling, designed to evoke emotion and transform your home into a haven of elegance and meaning.
