Loungers – Ethical Choices, Thoughtful Design
Loungers’ cotton is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), meaning it is grown without synthetic fertilisers or toxic pesticides and meets international labour standards. Organic farming methods like crop rotation and companion planting also build soil fertility naturally, locking carbon into the earth and helping to combat climate change. Alongside this, Loungers integrates recycled fabrics into production, giving new life to scrap materials that might otherwise be burned, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Sustainability extends beyond fabrics. Packaging is 100% recyclable, from boxes and bags made with wood pulp from sustainable forests to eco-friendly tissue paper printed with soya ink. Even the brand’s buttons are carefully chosen: Loungers uses Corozo, a durable, natural material harvested from the Tagua tree in Ecuador. This practice provides economic stability for local communities while helping to protect ancient rainforests from deforestation.
With these commitments, Loungers proves that style and ethics can go hand in hand. Every product is a thoughtful choice for both the wearer and the planet, reflecting a philosophy of comfort, quality, and responsibility.
