Founded in 2013 by Rachael, hobo + co. began at her kitchen table and has since grown into a dedicated candle studio on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Entirely self-taught, Rachael built the brand from the ground up, guided by a love of making, interior design, and hands-on work — something rooted in her upbringing on the family farm.

Inspired by years of global travel and a deep appreciation for the outdoors, hobo + co. creates scents that reflect both adventure and home comfort. Today, the brand is proudly stocked by retailers around the world while remaining firmly independent and true to its origins.

Sustainability sits at the heart of every product. The candles are made using soy wax derived from soya beans — a more eco-friendly and ethical alternative to paraffin — offering a cleaner, longer-lasting burn. All products are petroleum-free, lead-free, cruelty-free, and 100% vegan, with packaging that is biodegradable, recyclable, or reusable.

Each candle is wicked, poured, labelled, and packaged by hand in the Lincolnshire studio — ensuring care, quality, and authenticity in every detail.
