Our signature brush was designed here on the edge of Dartmoor and comes in a palette of nature inspired colours with plant-based bristles. Each Truthbrush is finished with a coat of natural plant oil to make them smooth and water resistant. The brushes are hand wrapped in tissue and a fully recyclable pillowpack.

Catherine and Catherine, a fashion buyer and an NHS doctor respectively, founded Truthbrush on the principles of transparency, honesty, and sustainability. As firm friends committed to living a more sustainable life, the idea for Truthbrush came about in 2017 after receiving a flimsy, disposable plastic toothbrush at a hotel, prompting them to seek a better, more eco-friendly alternative. This led to the creation of Truthbrush, which combines the sustainability of bamboo brushes with elegant design, embodying their belief that sustainable products can also be beautiful. Operating with an all-woman team, Truthbrush emphasizes ethical innovation and a human-scale business model, reflecting the founders' dedication to family life and the environment. They aim to disrupt the oral care industry without shortcuts, continually improving with technology to offer a sustainable choice for those looking to make a positive impact on the planet.
