How is this shampoo bar different from soap?
They might look like soap, but they’re not. Our solid haircare bars are made with gentle coconut cleansers and plant based oils, pH balanced to your scalp and hair. Soap is made by saponification which creates a bar that has a high or alkaline pH that’s not good for hair.
What is the pH of this shampoo bar?
All of our shampoo bars are formulated to a pH level of between 5.0 and 6.5. This means they are close to the natural pH of your hair which minimises irritation and there is no “transition” period or vinegar rinse required.
Is this shampoo bar suitable for children?
This shampoo bar is formulated to be gentle, so it can be used not only by people with sensitive skin and scalps, also on children aged 3 and over. Children have delicate skin that can be irritated by fragrances (sometimes called parfum) and synthetic dyes, we don’t use either.
