Hooded Owls was born when Charlotte (the founder's) own children grew out of their baby towels. At 3 and 5 years old she was still using their baby towels and couldn't find anything on the market that was any bigger but still had a hood. Her mum came to visit one day and they set about making their own. Friends liked them, and asked to buy one and the business went from there. Hooded Owls is now 5 years old and has received awards from various parenting publications for it's hooded towels which have been applauded for making bath time and swimming stress free.
